About Ground Transportation at Delhi Airport
This is the largest airport in India. The airport (DEL), is placed in Palam, 15 km (9.3 mi) south-west of the New Delhi train station and 16 km (10 mi) from New Delhi.
At the moment there are two active scheduled passenger terminals. The terminals Domestic and International have an inter terminal transfer. A complimentary airport shuttle connects T1 and T3 at regular intervals of 20 minutes.
The Delhi Metro is one of the fastest way to commute in Delhi. Apart of the metro, you can choose between train, buses or taxi.
Buses are the most common and cheapest way to travel around the city.
